The 2-storey clubhouse at Sophia Hills is a conserved and restored building of the former Methodist Girls’ School’s Olsen building. The school was originally built in the year 1925, during a period when most girls were discouraged from going to school. The school was relocated to Blackmore Drive in 1992. Restaurant
The single-level restaurant at Sophia Hills is a conserved and restored Chapel building of former Trinity Theological College. It is a local landmark with a distinctive asymmetrical roof. Trinity College is the first seminary in Singapore, developed by church leaders held in Changi Prison during the second World War. The Mount Sophia campus was built in the year 1948. Trinity moved to its new campus at Upper Bukit Timah Road in 2001. The restaurant will be designed for fine dining with a capacity of 120 indoor and outdoor seats.
