Rivière sits on the site at Jiak Kim street with 3 conservation warehouses that previously housed one of Singapore’s most popular nightclub for many years. The Singapore River winds around the site, lined up with hotels, restaurants, and up-market condominiums. Rivière is part of a mixed development with service apartments and retail. The estate is elegantly designed and the apartment spaces are well-utilized.

The launch in May 2019 was lukewarm however, as there were many other nearby launches during the same period. The main competiting projects in the area were generally located in traditional prime residential districts of 9, 10 and 11, and some of their land tenures are freehold. To choose Rivière over the myriad of new property launches in 2019 and 2020, one would need to appreciate sophistication more than the district codes and land tenure.
